Held on the first Monday of every month, Creative Music Circle is a dynamic, heart-centered class designed to reconnect you with your innate musical voice. Rooted in self-expression, creativity, and free improvisation, this class offers a safe and inspiring space for musicians of all levels to explore music, sound, and expression through music-making.

This is your space to be you—no judgment, no rules, no right or wrong notes. Whether you’re whispering through a handpan, soaring on your voice, or exploring rhythm with a new instrument, you’re invited to show up authentically and find your expression through sound.
Creativity
In each class, we explore playful prompts and guided frameworks that open new creative pathways. From common to unconventional instruments, group compositions, and storytelling through music, you’ll tap into surprising and joyful modes of creating, both solo and with others.
Improvisation
Letting go of sheet music and discovering the music already at our fingertips. Improvisation isn’t about being flashy—it’s about finding your flow. You’ll develop deep listening skills, learn how to respond musically in the moment, and build trust in your own unique expression.

FAQs
What if I’ve never played an instrument before?
That is completely welcome. No prior musical experience is needed to participate. The Creative Music Circle is designed for all skill levels, including complete beginners. You’ll be supported every step of the way, so you can explore sound, rhythm, and creativity with your chosen instrument in a way that feels accessible.
What if I don't have an instrument to play at the music circle?
No instrument? No problem. A huge variety of instruments will be available for you to use during the session, so you can fully participate and play with different sounds. If you find something you love, we even offer instrument rentals. Just chat with us about taking one home and continuing your practice.
What if I can’t make any of the dates for the music circle?
We understand that schedules can be busy. If you’re interested but can’t attend the current dates, we encourage you to stay connected for future creative music-making sessions. New circles are offered on the first Monday of every month, and we’d love to have you join when the timing works better. We also offer group workshops for you to continue immersing yourself in communal music!
How long is each music circle session?
The program will last from 7:30 to 9 PM. For 30 minutes prior and 1 hour after, the Sound Artist classroom will remain open. Feel free to keep making connections with other local musicians at that time.
